Amble Cottages - Quality self catering cottages in Amble ‘the friendliest port’. Parrot Cottage and Acarsaid are 19th century stone built properties lying in a peaceful area 200 metres from a sheltered beach and within strolling distance of the harbour, marina and restored pier.
Both Cottages have south facing courtyards with sitting areas. They make a comfortable and relaxing base for exploring Northumberland in any season of the year.
Miles of seaside walks straight from the front door! Short breaks available out of season.

Parrot cottage is one of the original traditionally built stone properties of Amble. Accommodation is over two floors with good access. Parrot Cottage comprises entrance hall kitchen, dining room and lounge on the ground floor. Upstairs there is a double bedroom, a twin bedroom, a single bedroom and a bathroom with shower over bath.
Double glazing and thick stone walls make for a snug stay, whatever the weather.
The property is no-smoking. Well-behaved pets are welcome.
Outside is an enclosed, south-facing courtyard with seating and large picnic table. This is a real sun trap. There is full gas central heating with coal-effect gas fire in the lounge. All fuel, power, bed linen and towels are included.
Lounge has colour LCD TV with video, DVD and free-view. There is a DAB radio and CD player. There is a range of local books and information.
The kitchen is well equipped and has a gas cooker, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, washer, microwave and full range of utensils.
Cot and high-chair are available on request.
Secure cycle storage in outbuilding.

Two doors up from Parrot Cottage, Acarsaid sleeps up to 4, so combined with Parrot Cottage we can accommodate up to 9 guests.
Accommodation is at ground floor with good access. Acarsaid comprises dining lounge, kitchen, bathroom with toilet and two bedrooms (one double, one twin). The property is no-smoking. As with Parrot Cottage double glazing and thick stone walls make for a snug stay, whatever the weather.

Amble lies on the beautiful Northumberland coast, at the mouth of the river Coquet, on the edge of the Northumberland Coast Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. It is close to award winning beaches, perfect for walking at any time of the year.
Amble has a good selection of shops for everyday needs; there is a wide variety of pubs and restaurants nearby and the best of fish and chips!
There are opportunities for river, reservoir and sea fishing nearby. The area is a walker’s paradise from the Cheviot Hills to the peacefulness of the Coquet Valley and Estuary.
