Amblers Rest Cottages are stone built terraced properties close to the sea and to the centre of Amble, 2 minutes walk from the little shore and harbour. They benefit from gas central heating, with gas and electricity included in the rent. Well behaved dogs are welcome with a plastic dog bed and dog feeding bowls provided. Nearby facilities include golf, kite boarding, windsurfing, diving and canoeing. The area boasts a marina, glorious beaches, sleepy fishing villages, majestic castles and the unbeatable coastal links golf courses. Alnwick Castle and Garden are just 9 miles to the north. Inland is Northumberland National Park.
Unit 1. The cottage sleeps 5 in comfortable accommodation comprising:
Downstairs: lounge with coal fire (one bag of coal provided), dining room, WC and kitchen.
First floor: 3 bedrooms - 1 double, 1 twin and 1 single and bathroom with WC, hand basin and bath with shower over.
Unit 2. The Apartment sleeps 4 comfortably.
All rooms are on the ground floor: generous lounge/dining room with French doors to a large courtyard with garden furniture, kitchen, and shower room. 2 bedrooms - 1 double and 1 with king size bed. Bikers and cyclist are welcome, the apartment has secure storage for cycles and 2 motorbikes.
