Opposite the Barbican entrance to Alnwick Castle in the heart of the Alnwick Conservation Area, beautifully furnished non-smoking ground floor apartment for 2 in a Grade 2 listed town house.
The lounge window offers an unrestricted view to the Castle entrance, and to the rear of the property is a wonderful peaceful courtyard garden, offering the ideal location for an al fresco breakfast or a relaxing evening drink. Depending on the time of year the courtyard garden catches the sun from mid morning to early evening.
The property has been stylishly decorated to a very high standard with excellent facilities. The focal point of the lounge is a cast iron fireplace. A table and 2 chairs provides an intimate dining area and the large settee is the perfect place to unwind after a busy day. The open plan kitchen is fully equipped with every item essential for your stay. The bedroom has a double pine bed and retains the original inglenook fireplace
Alnwick Garden is a 10 minute walk away. The town centre is approximately 250 metres away with a wide selection of shops, restaurants and tea rooms withhin walking distance. A 5 minute walk takes you into the lovely countryside, either along the river Aln or up into the Duke of Northumberland's Hulne Park Estate. A short drive to the west takes you to the heart of the Cheviot Hills. Beautiful quiet beaches are within a short drive of the apartment, prefect for walking, golf, bird-watching and more.
