In a breathtaking setting on the edge of the National Park, with a wealth of wildlife on its doorstep and the babble of a burn in the background, Burnfoot is the perfect place in which to escape the pressures of modern life.
The eight luxury cottages were created in 2009 from the careful conversion of a very grandly designed 19th century stone farm steading built by Lord Armstrong as a showcase for his world famous Cragside Estate, now owned by the National Trust.
The opulent interiors are finished in Farrow & Ball colours, with solid oak doors and furniture, leather sofas, wood burning stoves, flat-screen TVs, and shelves of good books. Every master bed has an extra-thick luxury mattress to help you enjoy the best night's sleep you've ever had. Not that you'll need much help relaxing in the silent, star-studded serenity of the scientifically-proven most tranquil county in England!
There are lots of walks direct from your door, an award-winning Inn is just a five minute stroll away, and as well as your own private tennis court there is renowned fishing, golf and horse riding all within easy access.
Children can play safely in the grounds where there are plenty of toys and over an acre of safe, lawned grounds.
All bed linen, towels, heating, electricity and logs are included in the rent. Travel cots, stair gates and high chairs are available free of charge; just let us know what you require in advance.
Pets are welcome.
