Conheath has lots to offer for young and old alike. It is a quiet semi-detached cottage, having the advantage of a stair lift for those who wish to use it. It is set in picturesque open countryside just 0.25 miles from the home farm at Blakelaw. It used to be the shepherd's cottage. It has been in the Riddle family since the early 1800's. The garden is private and has furniture and a barbecue. Sheep graze the field in front of Conheath and visitors are welcome to view the farm on request. Behind the cottage runs the Conheath Burn. The Pennine Way runs through Blakelaw hence plenty of walking and climbing on Callerhues Crag. Hareshaw Linn has a beautiful 30 ft waterfall at the top, well worth a visit. A welcome pack is in the fridge, which includes a bottle of wine, your first meal and breakfast. The cottage is centrally heated and coal is provided for the open fire. The indoor heated swimming pool is 10x5m and 5ft deep with roman ended steps!
