We are licensed for Civil Ceremonies and Partnerships and can cater for parties from 10 to 250 guests. Our Wedding Co-ordinators are here to guide you through the arrangements ensuring your special day is an occasion to treasure. Discuss your Civil Ceremony or Partnership with our wedding planners and take the opportunity to view the Hotel and facilities at our Wedding Open Days, available throughout the year. Each of the 31 bedrooms have been named after Northumbrian castles and famous local people and boast the facilities that you would expect from the region's leading luxury venue. When retiring for the evening an indulgent, comfortable bed guarantees to rest and recharge.

Every piece of furniture has been selected to make your visit a true indulgence. The George Runciman restaurant offers residential and day visitors the chance to experience the finest cuisine daily, in addition, Sunday Lunch is not to be missed.
