A charming 1920’s detached residence in the centre of the village of Seahouses which lies on the magnificent heritage coastline of Northumberland, perfect base from which to explore the surrounding countryside and superb award winning beaches.
The Farne Islands, home of our local heroine Grace Darling, support large colonies of sea birds and seals. During the breeding season, approximately April to July, the islands are alive with the many varieties of sea birds including Terns, Cormorants and the much loved Puffins.
Boat trips to the islands are available on a daily basis from the harbour which is still a working fishing port and less than five minutes walk from ‘Kingsway’.
Breakfast is served in our spacious dining room where each bedroom has its own individual table. Our varied menu includes Seahouses smoked Kippers and we also cater for any special dietary needs you may have.
Numerous visitor activities include scuba diving, fishing and bird watching. With various golf courses nearby, walking, cycling, horse riding opportunities and famous castles, there is always plenty to do.
For those who prefer the quiet life strolling along the beaches and country lanes may suffice.
Whatever your choice you are assured of a comfortable evening relaxing in any of our en-suite rooms or the guest lounge with a good book, magazine or watching your favourite television programme with light refreshments available.
A warm welcome is assured for all our guests at ‘Kingsway’ and we look forward to seeing you sometime in the future.
