Road Directions

From the North: Follow the A1 over the English border till you arrive at a roundabout signposted to Berwick-upon-Tweed. Follow the sign (straight ahead with Morrison's supermarket on your right) into the town centre , over the railway bridge, past Somerfield supermarket (on the left ) and immediately through the arch of the town walls. Keep going straight ahead past two mini-roundabouts and into the town centre with the spire of the town hall straight ahead of you. Go past the town hall immediately on your left, and keep going straight on down Woolmarket, not following the main road (which turns right just after the town hall). At the end of Woolmarket (about 100m) turn right onto Ravensdowne; number 7 is a short way down on the right.

From the South: Follow the A1 till you reach a roundabout and turn right, signposted to Scremerston along the A1167. Follow this road into Berwick, straight across the roundabout just past the Leisure Centre (on the left) and under the railway bridge. At the next roundabout (about 1/4 mile further on) turn right across the bridge over the river Tweed. At the mini roundabout shortly after the end of the bridge turn right down the main street, Marygate, towards the Town Hall (which has a steeple on it !) . Go past the town hall immediately on your left, and keep going straight on down Woolmarket, not following the main road (which turns right just after the town hall). At the end of Woolmarket (about 100m) turn right onto Ravensdowne; number 7 is a short way down on the right.
