South Causey Inn is a friendly welcoming 15 bedroom hotel, situated in the beautiful Beamish Valley. On site we have a British Horse Society Approved Equestrian Centre and also our own Beamish Lakes containing our own trout fishery.
Having had a full refurbishment in 2008, we are very proud of our 15 en suite bedrooms, including our luxury rooms with their own private garden. There are 2 beautiful function suites decorated with hanging tapestries and chandeliers, which cater for weddings, christenings, private dining events and family parties. We also offer a bespoke conference facility, including horse riding for team building!
Our food is a source of enormous pride, and we take a lot of care in working with local suppliers and growers – indeed our trout is caught from our lake daily! Our well stocked bar has local Real Ales and an eclectic wine list.
Located 5 minutes from the A1, we have many tourist sites just on our door step for which guests receive discounted tickets, such as Beamish Museum and Tanfield Railway. We are within cycling distance of Causey Arch – the oldest Railway Bridge in Britain (cycles available for hire).
