Sedgefield village is a short distance away with a variety of shops, pubs and amenities. Also the local race course, Sedgefield, and further afield, Redcar, Thirsk, York, Newcastle and Catterick. We border Knotty Hill Golf Course and there are plenty of local walks to take, with a nature reserve close by.
