Use of swimming pool & sauna
Situated off the main street of this pretty market town, this former barn built in 1731, has an open plan lounge and bedroom on the first floor with French doors onto a balcony. It offers free use of the sauna and swimming pool at the nearby Riverdale Hall Hotel.
There is trout and salmon fishing on the River North Tyne and Bellingham hosts a highly regarded golf course, par 70. There are three pubs within walking distance.
Bellingham is on the edge of the Northumberland National Park next to Kielder Forest, which boasts spectacular views, scenic walks, mountain bike trails and watersports. Nearby is Hadrian's Wall and the Roman towns of Hexham and Corbridge. A great countryside base for easy access to Newcastle-upon-Tyne.
