An excellently converted former granary which enjoys beautiful views of the dales and rolling farmland, a gem for two in beautiful Teesdale. A small footpath leads through the fields from the property to Barnard Castle a picturesque market town on the River Tees approximately 3 miles away.
The cosy accommodation is fitted and furnished to a high standard with exposed beams. External stone steps lead to a spacious open-plan sitting/dining room with well-equipped kitchen area, 1 double bedroom and a bathroom with 3 piece suite and electric shower.
The Old Granary offers a very comfortable base for walking and exploring the Durham and Northern Dales, with The Bowes Museum, Raby Castle and High Force Waterfall being just a few of the many attractions in the area. Durham City is 23 miles away and the Lakes and Beamish are an hour's drive.
