Thistle Middlesbrough is a four star contemporary hotel, with 132 bedrooms located in the heart of the town centre and accessible by road, rail and air.

The hotel is ideally located for visitors to the Tees Valley and within easy reach of Stockton, Darlington and Hartlepool as well as the North York Moors.

The hotel offers excellent accommodation with all bedrooms offering the facilities you would expect from a four star hotel, such as en-suite bathroom, trouser press, hairdryer, tea and coffee making facilities, LCD TV with satellite channels and internet access. The most recently refurbished deluxe rooms also offer air conditioning.

The Restaurant offers a variety of superb dishes cooked in front of your eyes. Alternatively the Co-Motion lounge offers an informal surrounding for a lighter meal or drink.

The hotel also boasts 17 meeting rooms, of which the Cleveland Suite is one of the largest meeting and banqueting facilities in the Tees Valley. Thistle Middlesbrough can cater for a meeting or event between 2 and 400 guests theatre style. The recently refurbished Cleveland Suite is a contemporary room with a built in PA and CD system and LED mood lighting in the ceiling for company branding, if required.

The Otium Health and Leisure Club is a luxurious facility which includes an 11 metre swimming pool, jacuzzi, steam room and gymnasium with Full Circle Hair and Beauty joining the hotel in late 2009, a range of treatments is now available.

The Hotel is also situated only a few hundred yards from mima – Middlesbrough’s Institute of Modern Art. This new £19m landmark building shows exhibitions of international importance and entrance is free.
