Todds House Farm is a 55-acre grass and cereal farm pleasantly situated on a country lane within easy reach of the village of Sedgefield with its shops, pubs, restaurants and its fine 13thC church.
Bed and breakfast accommodation is available in the 200-year old farmhouse or self-catering accommodation for a family of 4 in the attractive granary conversion.
Judith and Sam, the resident owners, are happy to advise you on where to go according to your interests. Judith is a qualified Blue Badge Guide and can offer guided tours of the region if you require them. She is also fluent in German and French. Maps of local footpaths and cycle tracks can be provided, and ample car parking and lock-up facilities for bicycles are available.
Todds House Farm is only 12 miles from the North East coast, and within easy reach of shopping and leisure facilities in Durham City, Stockton-on-Tees, Darlington and Middlesbrough, and only 30 minutes' drive from the Gateshead Metro Centre and Newcastle.
Sedgefield is at an ancient crossroads and is an excellent centre from which to sample the variety of the North East of England. Visit Durham City with its magnificent Norman Cathedral, or take a day trip in the Yorkshire Moors and Dales, Teesdale, Weardale, the Northumbrian coast or even the Lake District.
