West Nichold Cottage

West Nichold is a beautiful conversion of a fortified Reivers barn into a modern luxury cottage, set in one of the finest National Parks in England. Many of the original features such as knarled oak beams, arrow slit windows, sark boarded ceilings and outside hayloft steps have been carefully retained.

The cottage is built on a natural rock outcrop formed around 340 million years ago, which has been integrated into the garden area. the fabulous views are reputed to be amongst the best in northern England, stretching east across the Pennine Way into wild open Hadrian's Wall country and west to the Lakeland Hills and the Solway Firth.
