Adjoining owner's property, it has been lovingly restored, yet has retained much character and charm. Wonderful walking can be found direct from the doorstep, and a short walk over the fields leads to the local inn, noted for its real ales and excellent food. A day at the races is easily possible, as the racecourse can be seen from the property itself. Corbridge, Hexham and the Northumbrian coast are all easily accessible, as is the Lake District. The Scottish Borders 40 minutes. Newcastle-upon-Tyne, and Gateshead (for Metrocentre shopping) are just a 30-minute drive from Hexham. Shops 3 miles.
