Tantalise your taste buds in North East England...

The whole of North East England is a culinary dream come true and a real experience. On the Northumberland coast you'll find Holy Island, cut off twice daily by the sea, this majestic island is home to Lindisfarne Mead - a honey wine reputed to have aphrodisiac qualities. Further down the coast you can explore traditional smokehouses before feasting on freshly smoked Craster Kippers for breakfast.

For lunch, try a Northumbrian steak sandwich washed down with Fentiman's ginger beer in the world's largest treehouse in The Alnwick Garden before taking a guided tour round the poison garden. And of course you can head back to one of our thriving cities in the evening to experience some true gastronomic delights.
