North East writer Paul Smith - the Twitchhiker - recently travelled from Newcastle to New Zealand relying entirely on the goodwill and generosity of people he met through Twitter, the popular social media website.  This month Paul will be exploring North East England to try his hand at activities from our Adventure Generator. He won't have any say in which adventures he tries - it's up to people on Twitter to vote and choose for him. How extreme will Paul's week of adventures be? You decide!
