CANCELLED EVENTS! - July 17-19 Weekend

The following events scheduled for this weekend, have been cancelled due to the torrential weather. The rain is set to continue throughout the next 36 hours and this combined with strong winds has resulted in the cancellation of two events.

Middlesbrough MELA CANCELLED THIS WEEKEND DUE TO TORRENTIAL RAIN

THE torrential weather has meant the cancellation of this year’s Mela on Saturday, July 18 and Sunday, July 19 in Albert Park, for the first time in 19 years.

Unfortunately we as Middlesbrough Council and the Middlesbrough Mela Management Committee have had to make the difficult decision to cancel the event for health and safety reasons.

The rain is set to continue throughout the next 36 hours and this combined with strong winds means we cannot provide a safe event for the public.
