The Captain's Lodge is a friendly three-bedroom B&B, renowned for its relaxed atmosphere and warm hospitality. Right on the Newbiggin seafront, the Captain's Lodge offers spectacular views of the Bay, Church Point and the stunning new sculpture 'Couple', by renowned artist Sean Henry. Newbiggin is a great place to base yourself whilst discovering the delights of Northumberland and the Borders, including attractions like Woodhorn, The Alnwick Garden, Alnwick Castle, Bamburgh Castle and Hadrian's Wall.
Two large family-sized rooms, one with a glorious sea view, have comfortable four-poster beds. A single bedroom also overlooks the picturesque bay.
A sunroom allows the chance for a cup of coffee or a quiet sit down to read; outside, there's a sunlit patio, with steps leading down to the promenade. Traditional home cooked evening meals, using fresh local produce, are available for a small extra charge. There's secure off road parking for cars and cycles. Special rates are negotiable for long-term stays.
