Eastcroft

Eastcroft is a charming miner’s cottage situated in the heart of Stanhope village and within walking distance of local amenities including the shops, pubs, church, tourist information centre, the River Wear and children’s play areas. The cottage has been recently renovated to include central heating and modern appliances, and is well equipped to make your stay as relaxing and comfortable as possible.

Disabled guests are welcome as the cottage has an electric stair lift which can be used by prior arrangement, level wheelchair access at the rear and an outside ground floor toilet and electric recliner chair.

Situated in England’s second largest ‘Area of Outstanding Beauty’, and at the heart of the North Pennines, Stanhope is surrounded by dramatic scenery and provides activities for all the family.
