Alnwick Tourist Information Centre is well worth a visit to ensure you make the most of your stay in Northumberland. Situated in the heart of Alnwick in the Market Place, the TIC is an accessible building well stocked with information leaflets and brochures regarding attractions throughout the Alnwick district.
As well as its role as a visitor gateway to Northumberland, the TIC also stocks local literature as well as OS maps, road maps, locally produced food, postcards, gifts and souvenirs. Alnwick Tourist Information Centre is open all year and on bank holidays.
The Tourist Information Centre is located inside a grade II listed building underneath the Northumberland Hall. The majority of Alnwick tourist attractions can be accessed by foot within a 5 minute walk from the TIC.
Staff are very happy to advise on events and attractions and generally answer questions about the area. Accommodation, coach excursions and special event bookings can be made from Alnwick TIC during opening hours.

BUS:
Alnwick is served by many bus routes. The central bus stop in Alnwick Town is the Alnwick Bus Station. The majority of bus services either call through or terminate at this main stop which is located in the heart of the town. Public bus services from Alnwick can take you as far North as Berwick and as far South as Newcastle. Coach tour operators also call in at the main bus station. The closest train station is 2 miles East of Alnwick - Alnmouth Rail Station (also known as Alnmouth-for-Alnwick). The 518 bus service calls at the entrance of the station (up the hill).
