Road Directions

From the central motorway, north or southbound follow signs to the Royal Victoria Infirmary and Newcastle University. From Spital Tongues drive along Queen Victoria Road, alongside the hospital; St Thomas Street is on the left, with St Thomas St Workshops on the right at the bottom of the street. From the City Centre St Thomas Street is accessed from Percy Street with difficulty, and caution is advised.

There is vehicular access to the Workshops for collection and delivery parking, but for general parking there is a short stay car park opposite the Trent public house on Leazes Park Rd which, if full will provide a space after a wait of around five minutes. There are car parks for longer stays on Percy Street.

Nearest Metro Haymarket
From the Haymarket, at the top of Northumberland Street, cross Percy Street to the right hand side walking south; St Thomas Street is on the right. Alternatively, coming from the back of Marks & Spencer, cross the road & St Thomas Street is opposite you, next to the Oxfam shop. The workshops are nearby on the left.
