The region's single most successful agricultural events attracting both rural and urban audiences (22,000 most years) the core event is the agricultural competitive classes attracting exhibitors from as far as north Scotland to Lancashire. With emphasis on tradition, sheep shearing, hedge laying, the elegance of heavy horse turnouts, parade of hounds, grand parade and showing classes. Intermingled with this are some spectacular acts to thrill and entertain all members of the family.

Northumberland County Show is held in Corbridge approximately 15 miles west of Newcastle and 4 miles east of Hexham.
The Show will be signposted by the AA (Yellow) from the A69 and A68 trunk roads.
By train - the nearest railway station is Corbridge, which is within 200 yards of the site. This is on the Newcastle to Carlisle line. Train times can be found at www.northernrail.org.
By bus - bus routes to Corbridge on 26th May are Route 85, connecting with Route 658 and Route 602. These routes will run to the normal Sunday timetable. The Hadrian's Wall bus route AD122 also passes through Corbridge during the summer months.
