This exhibition displays work by a group of contemporary artists from China, who use traditional Chinese ink techniques to create contemporary artworks. Chinese ink painting dates back more than 2,000 years. Untold Stories illustrates how this art form is now being used to reflect contemporary life, including the cultural landscape of North West China that is home to a wide range of ethnic groups. The experimental works that make up the exhibition are by both established and emerging Chinese artists.
