Wang Qinsong

Qingsong is a photographer living and working in Beijing, who makes grand-scale installations, involving hundreds of people seemingly caught in a dramatic moment. He will photograph 300 local participants in Stage 1, made up as patients in a hospital ward. The image will hover between fiction and reality, based around the notion of sickness and healing. There will be a series of events surrounding his residency.
