From jct of A167 and A689 (Rushyford) take A689 towards Bishop Auckland for 1.2 miles. Turn next left after passing sign for Windlestone Hall. Follow road for 0.25 miles taking 2nd left. Garden House is the last cottage on the right.

From Darlington - 8 miles
Take A167 towards Durham. Cross over A1. Forward 5 miles to roundabout with A689 (Rushyford). Follow road directions.
