Traditionally built in local sandstone it offers excellent accommodation with a great deal of character. Hadrian Lodge offers fully en suite accommodation with single, twin, double and family rooms available. Pleasantly decorated with pine furniture and elegant parquet flooring. Each room has tea and coffee making facilities, bedside radio/alarm and TV. Everything you need to ensure a good stay and a comfortable night's sleep.

The Hadrian Lodge bar is the epitome of the English country pub with its heavy wood and iron bar tables and traditional open fire blazing in the hearth. The bar is well stocked serving beer and lager as well as a large variety of wines and spirits, a selection of soft drinks are also available. Home-cooked evening meals and deserts are always available.

On the A69 Newcastle to Carlisle road turn north at the Railway Hotel in Haydon Bridge. Continue for 2.5 miles, Hadrian Lodge is on the left-hand side.

Public Transport Directions

From Haydon Bridge - 2.25 miles
Turn right out of station over railway crossing. Continue up the hill for 2-3 miles.
