Innkeepers Cottage is conveniently situated in the centre of the village of Frosterley, nestling in the heart of Weardale. This charming 17thC Grade II Listed 4 star cottage is one of the oldest buildings in the village, circa 1680. Perfect for a romantic break for 2 in rural Weardale and exuding immense charm and character, this is the perfect location for the many attractions this lovely region has to offer. Innkeepers Cottage, as the name suggests, was once the residence of the local innkeeper in the 17thC. Today it has been sympathetically refurbished to an exceptionally high standard and has retained many period features, including exposed timber beams, wooden floors and original fireplaces. With an open log fire the sitting room is ideal for those cosy evenings in after a day spent exploring the Dales. The country style kitchen has been handmade by local craftsmen in solid pine and is complimented by a traditional Belfast sink and quarry tiled floor.
