Charming secluded stone cottage located on the edge of the Northumberland National Park. Completely renovated but retaining original features including open fire and internal stone walls. Ground floor has reclaimed maple wood flooring and 12m long by 5m wide kitchen and living area fully equipped with fridge, freezer, microwave, 5 ring gas hob, eye level oven, washing machine/tumble dryer, dishwasher, bread maker, coffee machine etc. and well furnished comfy lounge with leather settees and traditional range open fire. The 3 bedrooms are large with the two double rooms containing super king size pine beds. The third bedroom contains pine single beds. The two double bedrooms are en-suite, one with a bath and shower, the other with a shower.
There are incredible views from the cottage over the neighbouring fields and hills. The cottage is surrounded by fields and woods which contain a variety of wildlife. There is a farm about 300m away with sheep in neighbouring fields.

Buses run from Newcastle to Thropton from where it is about a 3 mile walk to the cottage. GNER trains stop at Alnmouth from where you should follow the A1068 to Alnwick, the B6341 to Broome Wood, cross the A697 following signs for Whittingham and Netherton. Turn right in Netherton and follow road for 1.5 miles, then left down single track road to Burradon. Cottage is first house in the village.
