Railston House is situated in the north east coastal village of Seahouses, within easy walking distance of the working fishing harbour, flanked on either side by miles of golden sandy beaches and outstanding natural beauty.

Northumberland is steeped in history, with many Roman remains, Medieval castles and fine houses.

For the active visitor there are some picturesque and challenging golf courses, diving, riding, bird watching, walking, sailing and fishing, all within a 25-mile radius.

An elegant Georgian House built in 1828 as a farmhouse. There are three spacious letting bedrooms (two doubles, one twin) all individually styled with imaginative use of colour and tasteful soft furnishings. You will find private shower, colour TV and tea making facilities in all bedrooms.

Guests can enjoy the benefits of a conservatory and walled garden which is peaceful and quiet.

Railston House offers excellent accommodation in surroundings of breathtaking beauty.

Road Directions

From A1 - north - Take left turn onto the B1342 3.5 miles south of Holy Island turn off. Head towards Seahouses. In Seahouses take the North Sunderland exit from the Harbour Inn roundabout. We are 0.5 miles up on left.

From the south - Take right turn (B6347) for Christon Bank 3.5 miles past Alnwick by-pass. Carry on through to take left onto the B1340 for Seahouses. Turn left at the Harbour Inn roundabout.
