The Ramside Farmhouse, built in the early 1800s, is an oasis of calm, surrounded by the Ramside Golf Course, and provides an ideal retreat for a a multitude of users. Great for Golfers, Wonderful for Wedding guests, Cracking for Corporate, Brilliant for BBQs, and Fantasic for Families, it's really whatever you want it to be. With five bedrooms sleeping up to ten people, a delightful farmhouse kitchen and a relaxing lounge, the farmhouse is let out on a sole occupancy basis.
It has all the facilities of a modern house with washing machine, drier, dishwasher, fridge and freezers and a traditional Aga cooker, and self catering is the name of the game although the facilities of Ramside Hall Hotel are just a few hundred yards away for those wanting the easy life and historic Durham City a mere 3 miles. Outside, there is a delightful raised patio area with great views over the golf course, garden and what used to be a Victorian walled garden and orchard, now grassed.

Road Directions
400 metres from the main A1(M) jct 62. A690 exit towards Sunderland. Through the traffic lights - under the railway bridge, turn right and you are on the drive.
Public Transport Directions
220 bus from Durham Bus Station to Sunderland - buses stop at the bottom of the drive. Park and Ride very close at hand - 10 minute intervals buses in and out of Durham.
