Darlington's ‘Art in the Yards’ is the award-winning joint Darlington Borough Council/Darlington Queen Elizabeth Sixth Form College project, which has created a FREE open-air exhibition of public art.
17 large-scale, original artworks produced by the College’s students are located in Clark's Yards and Buckton's Yards in Darlington town centre. These historic yards link two of the town’s main thoroughfares, High Row and Skinnergate.
Amazing artworks are on view in the medieval-like yards, where an open-air art corridor has been created, close to the unique businesses and cafés located in this historical part of town.
You can pick up an 'Art in the Yards' guide from Darlington Tourist Information in the Dolphin Centre on Horsemarket, to help you learn more about the artworks.
