The Garden Station is a restored Victorian railway station near Haydon Bridge in beautiful Northumberland. It is a magical and unique place to visit, with a beautiful Woodland Garden planted along the former Hexham to Allendale railway and a tiny museum showing the history of the railway and the Langley lead works which it served.
Our café specialises in real, tasty home-cooking, including excellent soups, home-baked bread and great cakes. We use seasonal, local and organic ingredients.
In the Station are exhibitions by local artists; art, crafts, books, cards and plants are for sale.
For details of our many day-courses, ranging from Bread Making to Willow Sculpture, ring for our brochure or visit our website.
We are licensed for weddings and civil partnership ceremonies.
