Locomotion - The National Railway Museum at Shildon celebrates its 8th anniversary with its annual Autumn Steam Gala event. This year's event will have an American theme and will feature several guest locomotives.
There will be access to footplates of locomotives in light steam, a fair organ, visiting traction engines, displays by heritage railway groups and stallholders offering a range of railway and modelling items.
For a small additional charge, enjoy a steam ride on the museum's railway, or a ride on a miniature railway.
