North East Wine Festival

The two day event will be in the grounds of Tynedale Rugby Club in Corbridge, home of the Northumberland County Show. The North East Wine Festival (NEWF) will give you the chance to taste over 160 different wines from a over dozen specialist wine importers and retailers featuring wines from Spain, France, Italy, Portugal, Germany, England and the New World! You'll be able to buy wine by the glass, bottle or case. You will also have the opportunity to take part in talks by wine makers, wine writers and sommeliers at our formal tasting sessions.
But it's not just about the wine. Three of the regions best restaurants will be serving specially created menus to accompany the wines on show, all freshly cooked on site. Further details and menus will be available on this website as soon as we get them!

Tickets for the event cost just £18 in advance and £20 at the gate. The entrance price includes a branded NEWF tasting glass, event programme listing all the wines on show and ten tokens. Each token can be exchanged for a 75ml tasting measure of wine. That's the equivalent of a whole bottle of wine. The downside is that you have only 160 or so to choose from!
