From Thursday 30th August to Sunday 2nd September Beamish is hosting Power from the Past, an extravaganza of horse power, steam power and everything in between! Part of the Festival of Agriculture - a whole season celebrating the agricultural and rural heritage of North East England.
Horse drawn vehicles, bicycles, motorcycles, trams, stationary engines, tractors, railway locomotives, traction engines and a host of fascinating agricultural machinery will be on display and in action in all areas of the museum.
Power from the Past is a fantastic day out for all ages! There is no extra charge for this event, as admission is included in the regular museum entry price.
