Rhian Cradock chef at the Feathers puts on a spectacular menu that changes everyday to utilise the freshest of local ingredients, creating great British classics and regional North East dishes. The menu includes home-made black pudding, wild salmon from the South Tyne and game from local shoots, rare breed local cattle and longhorn beef.
You can enjoy one of the four cask ales beside a real open fire and pick up one of Cradock’s cookery books that spill over the place. Enjoy a relaxing afternoon lunch with beautiful Northumbrian views, meet with friends or have an intimate dinner; the Feathers Inn is the perfect location. Chosen as Northumbria’s dining pub of the year 2008 by the Good Pub Guide and winner for the North East in the UK TV local food competition, recommended in the good beer and Alistair Sawday guide, a warm and friendly environment will ensure a memorable experience.
