Recent developments include a stream channel, exciting new wildfowl habitats and Close Encounters feeding area - bringing visitors nose to beak with some of the rarest water birds on earth.
Don’t miss the largest nesting colony of Grey Herons in the region at Wader Lake; Bullfinches and Great-spotted Woodpeckers in Hawthorn Wood, the ancient woodland at Spring Gill or our amphibian ponds.
Plus Meg, Molasses and Cleo - our trio of friendly goats – a breeding colony of pink Chilean Flamingos and tiny ducklings taking their first wobbly steps at Waterfowl Nursery (May-July).
